Santorini

Santorini’s thermal springs are located on Palea and Nea Kameni isles, both isles were created following the volcano’s eruption of 1570. Nea Kameni contains volcanic craters which are considered to be active until today.

Nea Kameni islet also known as the Santorini volcano, is a volcanic island at the center of the impressive Santorini caldera. Its highest point is 127 m above the sea level and it has two ports east (cove of Taxiarchis) and north of the island (cove of Erinia). Visitors can book a tour to Nea Kameni to visit the Nea Kameni National Geological Park and to hike the volcano of the island.

Visitors can reach the islet with the tour boats that depart from the old port of Fira or Athinios Port or hire a local boatman who knows the area to arrange their own visit/tour to both islets.
