Thermae Sylla thermal springs considered to be one of the most therapeutic spa waters in the world. Originating from a depth of over 3 kilometers with temperatures exceeding 80ºC, the therapeutic waters are cooled down to between 28-32º for use in the pools of Thermae Sylla Luxury Spa Hotel. The water under the property is particularly rich with different metals and elements, measuring at about 40-45 grams per liter. This is many times more in minerals than what the sea contains. Importantly the water at Thermae Sylla also has traces of Radon(Rn) which has been proven to stimulate the immune system and offer other therapeutic benefits in the right dose.
Academic studies have verified that the Thermae Sylla spring waters are of the highest quality, rich in metallic elements such as calcium, potassium, iron, lithium, magnesium, and sodium. Importantly, the magnesium to calcium ratio is 1:4, representing the ideal combination for the body to absorb both the magnesium and the calcium, in line with the findings of the International Magnesium Commission.
